It is our responsibility (not right) to teach our guyren. Spouses, being adults, have presumably already learned right from wrong, so discussing the issue is more appropriate than 'punishing'.

Again, the visit won't result in having your guys taken away. I'd definitely talk to your son about HOW he talked about the spanking.
